Mental Health Intern
We Offer:
● Supervision for interns including sex therapy and couples counseling (additional hours
may be required)
● Training, consultation, and Coaching to foster the intern’s development
● Virtual and in-person clinic environment
● Flexible scheduling options
● Referrals and support with building caseloads
Responsibilities:
● Prepare clinically and professionally for every client session
● Clinical evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing documentation according to company policy
● Practice ethical standards with client care and documentation according to company policy
● Utilize evidence-based practices and creativity in ongoing care to help clients achieve the outcomes they desire
● Compassionate communication with new and ongoing clients as well as collaborating with members of the clinical and administrative team
● Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and training
● Maintain a caseload of 15 clients weekly
Qualifications:
● Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences (counseling, psychology, social work) or a related field from an accredited college or university
● Candidates must be clinically licensed (LAMFT, LMFT, LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW) in the state of Georgia, or on track to obtaining licensure in their designated field
● Demonstrate competence in working with clients from diverse backgrounds
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Demonstrated experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
● Ability to implement evidence-based practices
● Proficient in utilizing office technology and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
